In addition to his luxurious properties in Brazil, Neymar is also eyeing the Florida real estate market. The Al Hilal player has just closed a multi-million dollar deal in Miami , adding a beachfront plot of land to his portfolio for US$26 million (R$150 million at the current exchange rate) – according to a report by “The Wall Street Journal”, with rumors of the star’s transfer to the Inter Miami club to play alongside Messi increasing.

What is Neymar’s new property like?
Located in the gated community of Bal Harbour , one of Miami Beach’s most exclusive areas, Neymar’s lot is 150 feet of waterfront and measures 2,300 square feet. The idea, according to listing records, is for a 1,200-square-foot family home to be built. The project has reportedly already been approved with London-based design firm Elicyon.

Neymar reportedly bought the home from businessman Bent Philipson, founder of nursing consulting firm Philosophy Care. Philipson purchased the land with an old house for $9.3 million in 2020. The building was demolished soon after, and the vacant lot was first listed for $30 million. The price gradually dropped throughout 2024, reaching $26 million in October.

Florida’s high-end real estate market is booming. Next to Bal Harbour, Indian Creek, a luxury community in Miami-Dade County known as the “ Billionaires’ Bunker ,” is constantly welcoming new residents. There are only 41 homes, all owned by high-profile residents such as Jeff Bezos (who bought a seven-bedroom mansion for $68 million last year ), Tom Brady and Ivanka Trump.

The player’s other houses
Considered the 7th highest-paid athlete in the world by Forbes in 2024 , with earnings of US$108 million, Neymar’s real estate portfolio is vast and luxurious.

One of his latest acquisitions was in Balneário Camboriú (SC), on the top floor of the tallest residential building in South America: the Yatchouse. The four-story penthouse in the 81-story building has a 360º view of the city and a helipad.

In 2021, the soccer star bought a R$20 million mansion in the Alphaville neighborhood of São Paulo (video below). The 1,880 m² property includes six suites, a wine cellar, a gourmet kitchen, a 1.6 km long swimming pool, a squash court, a panoramic elevator and a garage for 20 cars.

In the same year, Neymar acquired the former home of Claudia Raia and Edson Celulari in Rio de Janeiro for R$13 million. The property, on a 3,500 m² plot of land, has four suites, eight bathrooms, a swimming pool, sauna, gym, music studio and panoramic views of Pedra da Gávea.

His summer home in Mangaratiba, on the coast of Rio de Janeiro, is also famous. Purchased in 2016, the six-bedroom mansion is now valued at over R$28 million and looks more like a resort due to the amount of amenities it has. The list includes a sauna, massage room, 3,000-bottle wine cellar, gym, a pool table and even an underground disco. Outside, there is a swimming pool, a beachside jacuzzi, a tennis court and a beach volleyball court, a helipad and a pier.
