Sant Julià increases taxes and public prices by 4.6%.

The commons creates a tax on the collection of pets

Taxes and public prices in Sant Julià de Lòria will be increased by 4.6%, the equivalent of the increase in the CPI, according to what was approved in today’s session. The council also created a new tax on the collection of pets on the public highway and a price for renting the Sergi Mas hall, which has not existed until now, and reduced the general ticket for the municipal bus from 3 to 1.5 euros.

At the same time, in the session the common council ratified the general secretary, Judith Albós, and the financial controller, Montserrat Neras, in their posts. The new councillors were also approved. Teresa Areny, the senior councillor, will take charge of the portfolios of Culture and Personnel Management, while the junior councillor, Joan Malea, will take charge of Finance. The councillor Gerard Martínez will be responsible for the General Services, which include maintenance, forestry, technical services, water and gardening. The councillor for Tourism is Judith López, the councillor for Sports is Marc Ferre, and Cristian Mayoralas is in charge of Circulation and Parking. The main councillor, Cerni Cairat, will be in charge of Public Works, Town Planning and Cadastre.
