The works include the integration of the church car park into the avenue and the refurbishment of the access road and part of Santa Anna square.
The integration of the new car park at the church and the square with the second section of Carlemany Avenue, which will be open to pedestrians, will cost 911,000 euros. The council meeting today approved the awarding of the works, which also include the refurbishment of the access road to the upper part of the parish and part of the Plaça Santa Anna.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the year. This will make the entrance to the historic part of the parish easier to access for both citizens and tourists and will invite visitors to visit the upper part, with the recently inaugurated Espai Caldes and the Caldes project, which is also due to be completed in the coming months.
