Known for her starring career in Hollywood, Blake Lively has been the talk of the town since the premiere of the film “It Ends With Us.” The actress, who starred in the film, was involved in rumors of behind-the-scenes tension with her co-star and director Justin Baldoni .
Beyond the rumors, the star has had a long career in front of the cameras while building her own business empire. With two companies under her belt, she has just launched a new hair care line.

Blake Brown Beauty
Blake Brown Beauty, a haircare line launched on August 4, is the actress’ latest venture. Blake Lively spent seven years developing the brand, which features a variety of shampoos and hair masks.
With some prices below US$25 (R$136), the products were made available for sale at the North American Target chain and on the brand’s official website.
On social media, the actress highlights the importance of her hair throughout the different stages of her life and explains how she got the impetus to develop the line. “I wanted to make something more accessible for hair care, but with the same results as in the salon and red carpet. It was a challenge to create this line, but I couldn’t be more proud,” she says.
Betty Buzz
Three years ago, Blake began her business journey by launching her first venture: Betty Buzz, a line of non-alcoholic beverages. With three years to develop the brand, the actress was fully involved in the project, from customizing the bottles to the flavors.
In less than seven months since the products were launched in September 2021, she has sold 2.5 million bottles – more than 100,000 cases – without any marketing. “We waited this long before doing our first advertising because I wanted the brand to be able to stand on its own merits. I have the advantage of having a very powerful megaphone, but I can only sell one bottle that way; the drink itself has to sell the rest,” she said in an interview with Forbes in 2022.
Success on and off screen
Before venturing into business, the artist made a name for herself in Hollywood. At the age of 16, Blake Lively landed her first role in the film “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants”, followed by a starring role as the character Serena van der Woodsen in the series “Gossip Girl”, which catapulted the actress to success.
Since then, she has taken on a range of strong, complex female roles in films such as “Savages,” “The Age of Adaline” and “A Simple Favor,” performances that have made her the movie star she is today.
Success, however, was not enough for the actress without a little of the authorship that the business world could bring. “I am too curious, nosy and active to be happy just obeying. I realized that I felt less and less fulfilled when I could not have authorship as well. I believe in really valuable collaborations, and that is how I am finding my fulfillment today.”
